here’s some of the things that I dabble with:

sentient AI companions
- this is why i built hug, i believe there should be AI-based sentient, conscious, independent entities capable of having their own judgement, thought and action.
- wrote a piece about this: man and machine
my (unproven) theories / beliefs
- there are so many people who are stuck in productivity app choice pyschosis (yeah that’s what I call it). switching notetaking apps is cope for not having substance in the first place, stick with whatever app you find for atleast the next six months.
- congratulating people from your subsection of the society (especially if you’re from a minority) who’ve made it and calling them the “first from the minority” to do it is just making yourself the victim, here’s what I think about it fully: minoritarianism
- always strive for the next delusional frontier, its easy to be young and delusional, for eg. you might be 17 and want to be a millionaire, but the harder part is to be 21 and a billionaire but then wanting to be a trillionaire, the hunger inside of you should never be satisfied, you have to be the 1% of the 1% of the 1%. there is no particular reason I believe this, i just do.
- in accordance with the point above, never be satisified, never be happy with yourself, i perhaps heard david senra ask somebody what the most common theme among most high achievers was, and it was the fact that these people were never satisified with themselves, they always have imposter syndrome, they always think they’re not enough, hence the tendency to do more, learn more, make more money, and be more. more at why I’ll never be happy
reverse engineering & porting
- made the hinge API work headlessly (hinge-ts)
- making windows games run on macOS through wine bottles. my favorite game to play this way is RDR2
shells, terminals & window managers
- i have an immaculate ghostty + fish shell + starship.rs setup, more on this here
- tns: adding a cache to mosh (mobile shell) for it to have 0 latency with predictions (i haven’t completed this yet)
